Whiskey Dry

Chef Edward Lee’s third restaurant venture, Whiskey Dry, is a burger and whiskey bar located in the heart of downtown Louisville at Fourth Street Live! Unlike most whiskey joints in the Bluegrass, Whiskey Dry stocks more than just bourbon. The bar boasts more than 200 whiskeys from Ireland, Scotland, the U.S., Canada and Japan.

The Whiskey Dry concept is a throwback to a classic American diner, but with an upscale menu in an approachable setting.
Working closely with Chef Lee, we gave the brand a “hipster meets Waffle House” vibe — resulting in a look that feels fun, kitschy and slightly nostalgic. Graphic elements were inspired by the hand painted window signage of diners past.

The project received an honorable mention at the 2019 AAF Addy awards.
